Director of Music

Understand that your duties will cover key, wind, brass, string, and percussion instruments.
Be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit.
Build the skill capacity of the players to glorify God with the spirit of excellence.
Train appropriate persons who have the talent to grow in the ministry.
Ensure that adequate music is available for every category of services, including but not limited to conferences, weddings, funerals, and other special events.
Conduct regular rehearsals with the musicians.
Coordinate with the Leader of SONG and the Technical Superintendent for rehearsals to be done for every category of services.
Collaborate with the Leader of SONG and build a catalogue for all the music the ministry produces.
Appropriately score all music produced by the ministry.
Coordinate with the Technical Superintendent for the maintenance of all instruments and supporting equipment.
Build an inventory of all instruments and equipment of the ministry, including the service or maintenance schedules.
Be a part of the assigned intercessory group.
Do any other assignment as is necessary to build the ministry to fulfil its mandate before God.
