Leader of Song

Understand the ministry will comprise song and dance, video, audio, music, and drama.
Be born again and Holy Spirit filled.
Lead the singing for praise and/or worship during all services unless authorized differently.
Coordinate with the Director of Music and the Technical Superintendent for adequate support for rehearsals and services.
Conduct regular rehearsals to ensure that our worship is acceptable so that God would be glorified.
Be involved in assigned intercessory groups.
Coordinate with the Pastor as necessary to have the appropriate songs for the respective sessions.
Build a catalogue of appropriate gospel songs for use in the church.
Build a catalogue of all gospel songs produced by the ministry.
Build worship teams and have them coordinated for proper development.
Build the capacity of the worship teams to do extended sessions in the ministry and subsequently online.
As necessary, make recommendations to the Pastor for persons to join the worship teams.
Build three choirs; youths, adults, and mixed, which is to include both males and youths.
Be prepared to support other groups and ministries to develop their levels of praise and worship.
Maintain a life that is holy and acceptable before God.
Prepare songs in collaboration with the Director of Music for special services, including but not limited to conferences, weddings, funerals, and other special events.
Do any other assignment as is necessary to build the ministry to fulfil its mandate before God.
